Bikeflip Box Positioning Guidelines Misprint: The Crooked Graphics Story
Yes, it actually happened. 😅

We printed the Bikeflip Boxes… crooked.

If you take a good look at the photo, you’ll notice the internal graphics aren’t exactly straight. Our custom bike shipping box somehow turned into a slightly abstract interpretation of itself.

Let’s just say the alignment decided to explore new creative boundaries.

That one’s on us. No weird excuses, no overly technical explanations about box printing or packaging production errors. Just one of those moments where being human shows up in full force.

Because yes, to err is human. Even when you’re designing a premium bike box meant for safe bicycle shipping across Europe with the focus of a surgeon in the operating room.

Of course, every great company story needs a culprit.

Enter Stevie.

Stevie is our Creative Director. The man behind the visuals, the details, the carefully designed Bikeflip Box graphics. Which makes this story even better.

Until recently a respected member of the team, Stevie is now officially responsible for “Operation Crooked Graphics.” Ever since we pointed the finger at him, he has mysteriously disappeared. Coincidence? We think not.

Last reports suggest he was seen fleeing the scene with a spirit level in one hand. 🏃‍♂️

Jokes aside.

We made a printing mistake and we’re perfectly fine saying it out loud. When you build physical products, from bike packaging to logistics solutions, things can go wrong. What matters is spotting it, owning it, laughing about it, and making sure the next print run is perfectly aligned.

The good news? 🙌

The Bikeflip Box works exactly as designed. The bike fits, ships, and arrives safely. The structure, protection and functionality of our bicycle shipping box are not affected at all. The graphics are just a little… rebellious.

Inside these boxes you’ll still find the bike box assembly and packing instructions that clearly show how to place the cardboard inserts correctly, so everything sits exactly where it should and avoids any inconvenience during shipping.

Crooked print, straight instructions.

In the end, even boxes have personality.

And if you have any complaints about slightly crooked artwork, feel free to reach out directly to our Creative Director. You can find Stevie on Instagram at @stevefuckingschneider and let him know what you think.

We fully support constructive feedback or creative insults. Especially when they’re directed at him.

We keep improving, print after print.
And Stevie, wherever you are, please come back. 🚲📦
